Bethany Adult Day Services

Are you a 24-hour care giver in need of respite?
Is your loved one in need of socialization?
Maybe it's time to consider Bethany Day Services.

Bethany Day Services offers care services daily, including
weekends and holidays to give you the respite you need.

Bethany Day Services is available to community individuals as
well as Bethany Towers residents as an alternative to skilled nursing
or home health care services.

Our program is designed to enhance social interaction and to
provide respite care. Activities include musical groups and other entertainment
and participation in walks, reading, games, puzzles, videos, crafts, gardening, etc.

Bethany Day Services are provided by Bethany Personal Care Services.
The programming is supervised by a Registered Nurse.

Certified Nursing Assistants or Personal Care Aides assist the participants
in meeting routine daily needs and in all program activities.

Flexible Hours

Designed to fit the caregiver's busy lifestyle and your loved one's needs, participants
can take part in the Bethany Day Services program from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Our flexible hours include staffing on weekends and holidays. Flexible arrangements
can be made on a full-time or part-time basis. Reservations are encouraged at least
one week in advance of the scheduled visit.

Admission

Individuals from the community are eligible to participate in the Bethany Day Services
program. A licensed nurse performs an initial physical assessment, compiles a family
history and develops a plan of care.

Ongoing Assessment

A nursing reassessment of each participant occurs every two months. When Bethany Day
Services can no longer meet the needs of a participant, a discharge plan will be prepared.
The Director of Bethany Personal Care Services, as well as the participant and family, will
be involved in discharge planning.

Bethany staff will assist in making appropriate referrals. Advance notice will be given,
except when immediate discharge is necessary, due to a sudden change in the participant's
condition or when a participant is disruptive in an individual or group setting.
